Match vs Dandelions – 8th of March – meeting 12h00 Musashi Urawa station

Hi team,
very disappointing game last Saturday against some physical but inexperienced Navy boys. We lost the game 4 tries to 3, partly because of our lack of players, but also because of a lack of confidence and mental preparation.
By the way, this is the last time I want to hear remarks like “oh, they are big, they are doing 3 hours of training everyday” before a game. Remember: rugby, it’s 50% physical, 50% mental. Think of the Japanese teams that we meet throughout the year: they are smaller than us but they can beat us, partly because of their commitment.
These Navy boys looked like hamburger buns: big outside, soft inside. It’s a shame we lost against these guys, especially after the two good games vs NYK and YCAC.

Next Sunday (8th) is a friendly vs Dandelions. Meeting is at 12h00 at Musashi Urawa station 武蔵浦和駅 on the Saikyo Line 埼京線. We need to practice the line-outs and combinations so come in time. KO is at 14h00
